38 weeks exactly

I think I jinxed myself with the meme I posted last night! 😂 Still in shock that I will be holding my baby today. Water broke in small gushes starting at 6:30 this morning. I honestly thought I was just peeing myself. Around 10:30 I had a bigger gush with lots of mucus and decided to call my doctor. Went in and got checked. As soon as she put the speculum in I had a huge gush! A pelvic exam and swab test later I was sent to L&D. Was 2 centimeters at my doctors office, 3 when I got here and 15 mins after pitocin I was at 4. Contractions are picking up now.

For those interested..

-This is my third baby.

-I am 38 weeks exactly today.

-I got checked on Friday and was 1 centimeter, 30% effaced.

-I’ve been losing mucus plug for about two weeks now.

-No bloody show until my water broke.

-Contractions on and off for about two weeks now.

Wish me luck ladies! Doctor says that hopefully by 5 est baby will be here!! 🤞🏻
