Apartment living with baby suggestions?

Hi all,

I’m 10w5d with my first, so my expected due date is Nov 7. I live on the second floor of a building with no elevator and I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar situation and has any preferred strollers or furniture they would recommend.

I have a decent size space, but limited storage and the hallway is a tight squeeze. Any stroller/gear has to be lugged up 20 steps with a baby and a dog in tow.

I told my sister in law that I was thinking I might try and cope without a stroller and she blasted me.

All her advice so far has been ignoring the fact that I don’t live in a giant house in the country like she does.
