Does this count as sexual assault??

So basically years ago now, myself and a guy I was close with as friends at the time would walk our dogs together. He always chose to walk them in the evening, down a long road that barely anyone came down, I’ve known him since I was little so I wasn’t worried about going down the road with him. On more than one occasion he would try and kiss me but I would shrug it off and tell him I wasn’t interested in him in that way. Then on another walk he grabbed my hand and placed it onto his private area. I tried to stop going on walks with him but he came to my house and asked if I wanted to walk the dogs, I said ‘no not tonight’ but my mum was like ‘go on it will be good for them’ ( she didn’t know and still doesn’t know about what he did). This night after our walk we went to a park after with the dogs because she wanted to talk to me about his girlfriend at the time (I was friends with her, we weren’t close though). It was about 6/7pm uk time in autumn/ winter so it was pretty dark and basically he forced me over a swing basket (many UK parks have them) and started humping me over my clothes, I repeatedly told him to stop but he carried on for about 10 minutes before finally stopping. As we walked home (silently on my part) I felt a wet patch on the back of my jeans, when I got in I took them off and there was a wet mark on the back of them (I never sat down on a wet seat and it wasn’t raining, so evidence is pointing to him)

It’s suddenly hit me now that it could be. I would never dream of reporting him because no one would believe me and because I don’t want to ruin his career.

Also if anyone has any tips on coping with something like this, I will appreciate them greatly as I’ve literally just broken down ❤️ Thanks In Advance
