Contractions 4 1/2-5 mins apart should I go in?

They are 4 1/2-5 minutes apart. Not sure if it's real labor contractions though. I'm a first time mom and have no clue what to do

I would base it more on intensity, is it painful, does the pain seem consistent and gradually building or is it all over the board. If it's consistent and gradually building, you could be in labor. My active labor at 4 minutes apart was incredibly painful and only got worse as they got closer together. My false labor got as close as 2 minutes apart but the pain was all over the board.

I’d call and see what they say. I was told first time around if they’re 5 mins apart for an hour to call. Weeks after I delivered my first my OB told me she could tell based on my voice during that call how intense my contractions were and if I needed to go in yet.

If you're not sure if it's labor then it's probably not. I wouldn't go in unless they are painful enough that you can't walk or talk while you're having them. Typically you're going to know when it's the real deal.
