Has Anyone Had To Pump While At A Concert?

I’m going to a concert in May and will be away from my daughter for around 6-8 hours give or take. I pump every 3 hours, so I’m a bit nervous about how I’ll go about pumping while away at a concert venue (obviously in the bathroom but I’m mostly concerned about bringing the pump in the first place). I plan to call the venue ahead of time to make sure I’m allowed to bring a manual pump (it would be ridiculous for them to say no). But have any of you been in a similar situation?

When you call just ask them if they have any designated areas for pumping besides the bathroom. Many places do have areas for breastfeeding and pumping now

I was at a political rally and I had to pump and it was way easier than I thought! A lot of venues actually have designated areas and they have to let you bring in your pump as it’s deemed a medical device. Don’t worry about it!

I haven’t been in that situation but technically it could be considered a medical device. They can’t deny you. But I would pump in the car before the concert then every 3 hours after that. Just don’t forget to pack extra bottles and caps. I always forget that and sometimes have to waste milk.

How long will the actual concert be?? You could pump in your car before going in and pump as soon as you’re done if it isn’t too long.
