Confused Am I or Am I Not ??

So, my partner and I have been trying to get pregnant. Well, this time around. I’m late on my period. 3 days exactly. I took a clear blue test today and It said “Not pregnant” not what I wanted It to say. (Disappointing). What confuses me is this nausea I’ve been having this week. Also, I have been cramping for two weeks. Which I never cramp and rarely ever do when I’m on my period and only then. So this is very odd and last week I had very sore breast. Everything It touched hurt. I’m so confused. I really thought I was going to get a positive test. If I’m not what explains all these symptoms?
