2nd round... after chemical... any advice...

So did my first round of clomid last cycle. At the follicle ultrasound I had two mature follicles. So I was hopeful and excited. Bd on all the right day. So that gave me hope. Then testing every other day to see what happens. Well low and behold I got a faint positive and I was ecstatic. So went in for blood work yesterday and they were negative. I'm having a chemical yet again. So the doctor wants to keep me on metformin twice a day and me to take clomid cycle days 5 through 9. So here we are this morning the morning after the news and stupid AF shows. So cycle day 1 in full swing. So round 2 here I come. Any advice ladies? Anything you could advice me to do or keep doing? I check my bbt every morning, do opks, take my meds on time, take prenatals.
