9 month old and 8 teeth, but won’t let me brush them 😭 any tips?

Make it a game. You brush your teeth and have baby try to brush their own. My son loved sitting on the countertop and trying to copy. We did your turn and let him and then did my turn and brushed his teeth while he attempted to brush mine lol

Gotta love the teeth phase. We started out with one of those silicone banana chew toys that have built-in bristles. Even if they’re not properly brushed at least they’re getting some kind of friction on their teeth. 
My kid does better when distracted, so we brush part way through reading a book. 
Also, my kid tends to resist brushing during teething, (which feels like a permanent stage), and I found it useful to serve chilled food at dinner (like frozen yogurt dots or frozen pumpkin purée. Baby looooooves that and it feels good on sore teeth.)

I would cradle hold and sing old MacDonald to my son during brushing time.. seemed to help distract him.

The only way i could brush my daughters teeth was with a silicon toothbrush that goes on the tip of your finger. I could get that in her mouth but not a normal tooth brush. At times i did have to hold her in place and just brush, but we also made a game out of it where we would tip her backwards saying “weeeee!” And each time she went backwards and was hanging upside down i could brush her teeth. She loves the game now

You can give her one to become familiar with or you can try the electric ones. My son has definitely grown to love brushing his teeth when I switched to an electric toothbrush.

Have you tried an electric toothbrush? My son went through a phase of hating having his teeth brushed and the electric toothbrush helped a lot. And also, brushing my teeth first and letting him see me do it before brushing his has helped a lot as well. He loves having his teeth brushed now.

My son helps me brush mine then we do his. Maybe try a fun song and dance while doing her teeth

Give her a brush to use herself to get used to chewing / the feel of it in her mouth. Brush your teeth in front of her and hopefully she will get the idea and possibly copy.
