1 year after...

Today marked a year from my abortion. It’s been one of the hardest years of my life. I’ve had to seek counseling and medication to get me through it. It’s not an easy experience, the pain will never go away completely with my experience. There is a part of my heart that is just empty.

Today my boyfriend and I bought an Edible Arrangement and delivered it to the Planned Parenthood that I sought care from last year. After we kindly asked the security guard if we could drop it off to the staff in the lobby, he allowed us. The woman who took it cried when we said we were there a year ago today and wanted to thank them for consoling us when we needed it the most.
