Irregular period

I was a late bloomer and didn’t get my period till grade 10. Its been 6 years now and I’m 21 and I still have bad irregular periods. Very unpredictable and I use apps to track my period but often don’t come the right time. I also have reallyy bad spotting too I think?? Usually after my period, which always ends up being the full 7 days I’ll get brown discharge for the next week! Is that normal? Should I check out with my doctor?
