Feedings length time?

How long do your baby’s feedings last? My baby’s average time is 9 minutes. She can sometimes feed for 15-25 minutes then sometimes she feeds for like 5 minutes. On average she eats every 1.5-2 hours but if she’s fussy I usually give her my boob and she takes it. So pretty much she’s eating in demand whenever she feels like it. Is it normal for my baby’s feeding time to be all over the place & as little as 5 minutes?? 😭. I just don’t want to starve her

My LC told me this “babies eat just like we do, sometimes they need a little drink other times a full meal, as long as the number of dirty diapers is right then baby is eating enough” my little guy will eat for different amounts each time.

My little one feeds anywhere from 5-15 mins per feed and usually feeds every 2.5-3hrs during the day and every 3-4hrs at night

Mine is exactly the same, and she’s been gaining weight just fine.

My midwife told me it's so different how long it takes. So it sounds completely normal.
If your baby is gaining weight and seems alert and thriving, then you're not starving her.
My girl slept a LOT when she didn't get enough food due to my milk production being low. So you will notice if your baby is not getting enough, I promise you 😊
