Lanolin for open sore?

My baby has had an open sore on his bottom that will off and on bleed for almost a month! It’s almost like a blister. And yes I have already taken him to the pediatrician. He said to mix Maalox or mylanta with the butt cream. I’ve tried baking soda baths, diaper free time, aquaphor, A&D ointment, nyastin, max and natural butt paste, And Burt’s bees ointment. At EVERY change. I have switched to cloth diapers but am having to take a break because of a separate yeast infection that had almost cleared. PLEASE HELP. What else can I do???

Is Lanolin safe for open skin sores?? Any experience using it mamas?
