3 month old still wakes up every 2-4 hours, HELP!

I need suggestions besides setting a bedtime routine. He’s breastfed. Sometimes his first stretch of sleep will be 3-4 hours then after that every 2-3 hours. Or sometimes it’ll just be 2 hours across the board. He wakes up hungry but I’m able to just feed him and then put him back down after burping.

I also feel like gas wakes him up.

Any solutions as far as feeding goes? My cousins say to give him a bottle of formula at night since it digests slower. I do want to keep him breastfed but I will give it a try if there aren’t any other suggestions.
