Pregnancy/maternity clothes?

Question

So I’m almost 12 weeks and I’m just confused on what to do for pregnancy clothes? I know it sounds dumb but I don’t really have a belly now but my regular clothes are abit too tight. 
Do I start buying maternity clothes now or do I just buy a few things that fit me and then as I get bigger buy bigger clothes as I go? 
I don’t want a wardrobe of maternity clothes that I’ll only wear for 6 months 😩😩

I went to the a second hand store when I was about 13 weeks (one pants were too tight and another had finally seen their last day) and got two pairs that fit me and wore those until I got to 20 weeks. Then I got a little bit more. My advise is to get little by little so you don’t have a bunch of clothes that only fit you in the beginning.

I never bought maternity stuff. Just bought larger/stretchy clothes.

Buy whatever and whenever you want. I only bought one pair of maternity pants because leggings were better to me. And I had like 2 maternity shirts. That stuff I only wore for appointments or parties we had lol.

I’m in the same boat. I just bought a couple of cheap tops and pants that were 2 sizes bigger. I plan to invest in maternity clothes a little as I go. But I did find a lot of cheap good quality items at the local consignment shop in my town. Maybe look at one in your local area before buying brand new stuff.

I bought some larger stuff at your size but only because some things were uncomfortable in like pants. But I didn't need maternity pants or shorts til like 20 weeks. And then I HAD to buy them it gets uncomfortable to have something tight on your lower belly. 
Maternity or large shirts. I perferred maternity shirts but you can totally wear some later. 
I only got 2 pairs of pants and now 2 pairs of shorts because its getting warmer
