Pumping for labor

I really really dont wanna hear the let your body do its thing speech or the let your baby grow lecture, I got permission from my doctor to start pumping to induce labor. I want to go naturally but will be induced at 39 weeks, so that leaves me alittle over a week to get my body to cooperate. Has anyone ever pumped to get labor going, did it work did it not? I've been active all day, had sex, and pumped for 11 minutes, even got almost 2 oz out(I did save it). I've been drinking raspberry leaf tea as well. I'm just curious if pumping actually works or not?
