HOW SOON?

Hey mamas,
I am currently 36wks 5days with baby #2
I just wanted to know how soon I can start wearing shapewear to help snatch my body back into place? (I never did for my 1st)
I don't want to assume & something goes wrong cause after baby your organs and all need to fall back into place etc etc

I wore mine after i left the hospital🤷🏻‍♀️
It worked instantly. My doctor and nurses gave me the okay to wear it.

The hospital gave me a belly band on day 2 :) not really shape wear but helped the feeling of jelly belly.

Start with something like the belly bandit (got mine on amazon) gives amazing support and helps bring things back together those first few weeks/months then I moved on the tighter girdles/shape wear. They made such a difference and saved me from a lot of back pain. Happy delivery beautiful mama!

I had a csection and had to wear it since day one.
My sisters had natural births and they used it from day 1 as well.
Best thing ever, I had twins and a massive belly and I have zero loose skin.

I had a csection and my ob gave me the okay in day 4. I didn’t actually start wearing it till 2weeks pp cause I was a little nervous about my incision, its been great for me ever since ☺️

I would ask your doctor, factor in any complications of L&D or any pain you have, but i would say if everything is ideal you can start wearing one (carefully) a few weeks after the birth. You don’t want to “force” everything back in. Give it some time.

Usually the go time for everything is about 6 weeks postpartum. I’d ask your dr just to be sure.
