First ultrasound at 6 weeks?

Hey guys! I had a doc appointment with my gyno Friday to “confirm” I am pregnant and talk about what’s to come. She does her first ultrasound with her patients at 6 weeks. 4 of my friends that are pregnant didn’t have their first till 8 weeks and one of those girls is my best friend and she’s a nurse and she said to switch my appointment to 8 weeks cause you won’t see much and probably won’t hear a heart beat. Did anyone else have a 6 week ultrasound? I want to do what my doctor says and she said that I will hear a heart beat and said she does it with all her patients. Just curious! :)
