6 weeks ??? Scan ????

Today I went for a 6 week scan but they couldn’t locate baby ??? Hcg 1838 .... anyone else experience this xx

Usually can’t see anything till your HcG is over 2k. 
They couldn’t see a gestational sac or anything at all?

all I can say is just breathe and continue the next few weeks as if you’re still pregnant. My wife and I had this same issue when we went to planned parenthood and one week they said they have a heart beat and the following week there was nothing. The OBGYN was able to find the baby and strong heartbeat. Her hcg levels continued to double every other day and the OB just kept saying you’re very early, around 5-6weeks, so don’t worry too much about it.

Could be too early, you also could have ovulated at a different time. I went before 6 weeks and they only found a yolk sac (and my hcg was around 6000). My doctor told me typically a heartbeat would be around 7-8 weeks.

This was mine they think I’m around 6 week 1 day when this was taken. I’m not 100% as I do not track my periods. This was a private clinic I paid for a scan. Usually they don’t scan till week 8 but I’m going away on holiday so scanned early. Wish I didn’t know as they couldn’t find a heart beat. My anxiety is going through the roof. I’m really hoping it is just where it’s still early. I’m so scared. They referred me to early pregnant care unit at the hospital who are doing a scan on Friday so that’s a week apart from this one. I just hope they find a heart beat. I’m so scared. 
I’m sure you will be just fine it’s probably where it’s just so early. I have been looking online and they did say now at the 6 week mark is when things start to happen so you maybe just a bit early

At 6 weeks They’re usually looking for a sac not a baby.

Did they do a vaginal or abdominal ultrasound?

I had one at 5+1 last week and all they could see was the gestational sac.  The dr said the hcg has to be above a certain level before baby is seen and mine was 1880, almost the same, I’m getting a rescan this week
