Stop taking mini pill?

Can you stop taking the mini pill in the middle of a pack while I’m breastfeeding? Will that affect my supply? Will I get my period? Are there risks? Besides getting pregnant of course lol

Answer

You can, but you keep in mind you could get pregnant. Even nursing around the clock every 2 hours is only considered 70-80% effective. The minipill picks up the rest.
You may not start your period, if you're still BFing, your period may still be sporadic.
