Moms that are in college or working?

Can some of you share your routine or how you manage having a baby/ kid in college. I know i can’t live on campus but should i find someone to watch my kid while i have class or should i find a daycare? How many classes should i take and can i expect not to be much involved? My fiancé is in the military he won’t be here for the first 7 months and my mom is not very supportive so those are taken out of the equation.

Does your campus have a daycare? Mine did so students and employees brought their kids there and the people employed there were usually early childhood or education majors.

I have no kids, and just started college back last semester. Working full time, being married, being active in church, and having a house to take care of makes school 100x harder. It's not so much school, it's trying to find time to fit everything in. My husband has felt neglected many times because unfortunately all the time I used to spend with him is now taken up by school, so it could actually be an advantage for you that your SO isn't there as crazy as that sounds. I feel like online classes consume more time than a physical class, but they are more flexible as far as timing goes. Will your classes be online or will you go to campus? Do you work too? Even if your classes are online I would recommend still having someone watch your child here and there and go to the library or somewhere quiet that you can focus on just school.
