How much is prenatal expenses with insurance?

I owe $2,600 already and I'm only 11 weeks. I have Aetna innovation health and they are barely covering anything! I didn't expect to pay this much already. I know so many girls get FREE care for everything. Idk how they get that!

I don’t know anything about your specific plan, but have you tried calling them and asking about maternity benefits? There may be some pretty serious restrictions, but they could possibly tell you what you can do to get the most it if your plan and owe the least (for example, do you have an out of pocket maximum?).  If your plan actually doesn’t cover much, then maybe you can qualify for supplemental insurance that would be less expensive in the long run than paying out of pocket (I’ve never done this and don’t know anything about it myself).

My insurance also barely covered anything. When we got our payment plan for delivery my husband and I almost cried. On top of our like $450 a month premium we had to pay $583 a month towards the delivery AND we still owed for one ultrasound and a previous visit. 
My doctor's office recommended that I apply for the pregnancy medicaid. Worse case scenario, I would be denied. 
I was approved (yes, on top of having insurance) and now we pay literally zero for everything. They are even trying to refile some of what was already in our balance to get it covered too. 
I definitely recommend trying to apply. What's it going to hurt? It gives you medicaid during pregnancy, and the baby gets medicaid for the first year of its life. And all you do is apply.

My insurance out of pocket maximum is 3,000. I’ve already paid into that a little this year so I’ll likely pay around 2k for the hospital. But I don’t pay anything for my regular visits, my doctor hospital fees were mostly covered except for $500, which I already paid in full so it’s out of the way, and we have the rest in savings for the hospital bill to be able to pay it in full. 
We knew what our maximum and coverages would be before getting pregnant so we could prepare and be ready for that expense.

I have Kaiser I have a $15 co pay free ultrasounds and $250 for labor n delivery.. I pay $65 a month for premium

My max out of pocket is $4000. We’re having twins so we met that in the first trimester. We will be making payments for a long time, but we shouldn’t have to pay anything else unless it’s out of network for the rest of the year. Your plan sounds really weird!! I’d call for sure!

Me an my daughter get getaway. It is from welfares. An now me begin pregnant both my kids will have it..they cover everything I never paid out of pocket. Since your pregnant an if your income is low try for welfare..you can even try for food stamps

We have to pay $250 for our two day stay at the hospital too. 
My insurance is pretty great though. I have Cigna.

I got my care free minus $25 for delivery, but I have military insurance, it would’ve been fully free if i would’ve went on base for care. But next pregnancy the max I’ll pay is $1000-2000 through my birthing center for all prenatal care and delivery
