How much did your baby weigh at birth, and do they match their “birth size” today?

I’m not sure if that question made perfect sense... what I’m trying to see is if it’s true that a baby’s birth weight is an indicator of how the baby’s size will be as a child or older, et cetera. I read something recently saying that babies born big usually stay “big” or “tall” or “strong” throughout life. Babies small will be more petite throughout life. Of course not in every case.. but I’d like to see what y’all think 😊

My daughter was born on her due date and was 7 lbs 13 oz. she’s 9 months old now and is right under 19 pounds, in the 56th percentile for weight, but she is really tall!! 87 percentile
