Does this look normal? My 6 week olds belly button, just worried about the red looking blob, don’t know if it’s normal or not, it’s also still getting a bit of discharge every day

My son has the same thing and was told it’s completely normal. My son is 7 weeks old.

Normal just put some alcohol drops

Normal. We had it they called it a granuloma and put silver.... something on it at the pediatrician. Just a little ointment on a stick that they wiped on it to dry it up. Had to go back the following week for a second treatment. All gone now. 
They said if we didn’t do the treatment it was fine, but would take much longer to go away.

Same thing going on here. Pediatrician just said to wipe with an alcohol pad everyday. Til it’s done drying out.
