What would you do ? Kinda a disagreement ..

I called penn foster. I have $350 left to pay, but I have to pay that all off before I get my diploma. (So about 7 months) But they said they have a discount going on that if I pay it off by Monday, it’ll only be $225 I have to pay. & I’ll get my diploma within 2 weeks. My SO thinks I shouldn’t do it because I should save money. But I’ll be saving $50 a month in a way. Like he’s saying I shouldn’t & i think I should so I don’t have to worry about it anymore which is what I want to do. I have enough money & I get paid next Friday.
