Theres alot of things that could play a factor in having a late period. If you had sex around the time of ovulation its still a possibility that your hgc levels are still too low. Its a low chance but still a possibility. Stess can cause your period to be late and i don't think there is a set number of days that it stops at. The more you stress the harder it is on your body and your cycle. But its also normal to just be late or skip a period every once in a while. If your next expected period doesn't come call an obgyn for an appointment.
