When should I test?

So me and my fiance have been Ttc for about 9 months now, and my periods have been consistent to start around the 5th of every month (was on the pill for almost a year prior and have been off almost year now) but last month my period came by on the 31st and made me think ot was implantation bleeding which wasnt. So now I'm wondering if I should test around the 30th which is the estimated date of next period or wait until the 5th like my previous periods.
