So my partner and I have been together for 6 years, 3 living together. Due to his work we’ve had our periods as a long distance relationship but we always manage to go through the rough times. Right now he’s working in LA and we are based in Australia, so again we’ve been long distance for a year and he’s coming back in a couple months for good.

We are pretty laid back in regards to marriage. We live together and that makes me happy, I have no rush to have a wedding, I know he’s the love of my life and that gives me peace. In fact every time somebody asks “when are we gonna tie the knot” he always jokes around saying “I’m still waiting for her to propose” and we laugh it off.

So the last time he was home was March, for my birthday, and while he was here he came up to me once and said “I have a favor to ask you” and I said “what’s up?” (he sounded pretty serious), he said “I need you to tell me your ring size if you know it, or I need to borrow a ring of yours, one that’s fits perfect” 😱 si I blushed and laughed and he said “I’m planning something but I don’t want to fuck it up with the wrong size, and if I keep waiting for you to propose I’m gonna get old and decrepit” 😂😂😂

we laughed and joked around and all and I gave him a ring that fits perfect and he took it with him back to LA, now I guess I should be waiting for him to come back home and propose? I don’t know, he’s really really bad with surprises though (clearly! 😂😂😂), i just wanted to share cause I haven’t told anybody but deep down I kinda feel excited? Sort of like a giggly little girl if you know wha I mean. Thanks for reading, sorry for the long post 😝😁
