When does doc start checking cervix for dilation?

With my first they started at 37 weeks. This time I’m not doing them.

Usually at 36, but at 33+2 last week I asked her to check me because I was curious haha.

I think it depends on the doctor. When I was pregnant with my daughter I believe she started checking me around 37 weeks. I’m 36 weeks 5 days and have an appointment tomorrow. I’ve been having a lot of cramping and have lost my mucus plug so I have a feeling I’m at least a little dilated. I’m hoping she checks me tomorrow. I think I’m going to ask her to

Last friday on my 38 appt. They told me I can request a cervix check and a membrane sweep on my next appt which it is on Friday. Hopfully they do do it lol

Not sure because I’m 38 today and they have never told me how dilated I am because there was no need to? Really annoying.

Depends on the doctor, 
Mine checked at 35 weeks because I had some pressure in my pelvis. 
But she is starting to check once a week starting tomorrow (ill be 38 weeks)

Mine typically start at 37 weeks, by asking if you want to be checked but I have been cramping and contracting inconsistently for a few weeks so I asked if she could check me at 36 weeks
