Did you have a baby shower/sprinkle with your second baby?

I’ve seen discussion about how baby showers are for your first pregnancy only and you should have all the necessities at that point. I have always thought people would have a shower for every new baby. I also recently heard that if you choose to have one for your 2nd baby then it’s no longer called a shower but a sprinkle? I’m confused lol. What are your thoughts/opinions?

Have had one each pregnancy. My last 2 are 10 years apart though.

i think it’s up to you wether if you want a baby shower with each of your kids or maybe just the first. “Sprinkle” lol never heard of it but it sounds like bs to me 😂

I had a baby shower 6 years ago with first. Just went for dinner for second and this last one im having a baby sprinkle just to  celebrate our last bub with those  we love and excuse to get everyone together and have a party

I don’t see the issue with having a baby shower/sprinkle for all your babies.
You don’t have to have guests bring gifts.
Generally the showers are to celebrate your baby 🤷🏻‍♀️
My first baby is a girl, and I’m pregnant with my 2nd girl, I’ll be having another shower for this baby too. Just going to write on the invitation that as this is our 2nd girl we have basically everything for her, so if someone wanted to bring a gift, then something along the lines of nappies/wipes would be most appreciated 😊
