Pregnancy???

Hello, I’m new to this. I been trying to conceive for a year now and I couldn’t get pregnant. I got checked and I found out I have to have a procedure that could be the reason I couldn’t conceive. According to the calculation my ovulation days was March 28 to April 3. I did have sexual intercourse around the time. My cycle is now 6 days late and idk if it’s because I’m stressed about my procedure or if I’m actually pregnant. I took a store bought test but it came back negative. Should I retake a test to be sure?
