Mamaroo?

Question

Looking to buy the Mamaroo, I have heard great things about it from family members who have it. However, I’ve been reading reviews online and some people say it’s not worth the money and that baby hated it. 
Now I’m torn, should I look into a more reasonably priced swing or should I just got for it?

It’s like any baby item really - no two babies are the same so yours might hate it or love it. I’m not a fan of expensive baby gear because they use it for such a short time IF they use it at all. 
You could try finding one used, or see if you can borrow one from a friend to try it out once the baby arrives.

We went with the graco sway swing. Babies are fickle and buying expensive stuff that they may not like scares me 😄 since we’re not rolling in money or anything. I’m betting on the swing because all of the babies in my family preferred a regular swing over anything else so I’m hoping he will too! 🤞🏼

Wasn’t worth the price tag for me...my first didn’t love it. I’m getting a regular swing this time around. I’m sure you’re gonna have mixed reviews no matter what. 🤷‍♀️

I’ve had a lot of people recommend the graco soothe swing and rocker over the mamaroo so I went with that!

I’m actually going used. You can find tons for sale on Facebook marketplace that are very lightly used for half the price tag.

I knew a couple of people who had it and loved it except for 1. I was also debating on if I should get it or not so to help myself make a decision I ended up putting it in my baby registry and actually got it as a gift at my baby shower. If you’re having a baby shower just put it there, sometimes people look for gifts to go in on together. And this way you won’t spend the money if you don’t have too! :)

My daughter hated it. Waste of money invest in something cheaper or buy used!!

I have the mamaroo. My son loved it and I held onto it knowing we would have a second. Hoping she likes it just as much, I got mine from a friend though, don’t know that I would have gotten it new without knowing if my son would like it. 
I will say my favorite thing is how easy it is to throw in the washer.
