34 wks 3 days and Sharp pain

I'm having sharp pains on the right side of my stomach. I can feel the pain in my pelvic area but it's not as bad as my side. It hurt to even move at times. The pain come n goes like every few minutes. I've been having pain the past few wks where it feel like my son is trying to claw his way out. That pain shoots far down and sometimes stop me in my tracks. My dr told me it could be ligament pain. But idk what this is. Anyone else experiencing this? And If so, do u know what it could possibly be?
