Not gaining anymore weight sign of labor?

Iv only gained 5lbs total so far..I'm 34+4 I lost 1lb. Iv heard that if you start those weight or don't lose anymore it's a sign of labor is near. How true is that? Experience?

I stopped gaining weight about six weeks before my son was born during my first pregnancy. I was too uncomfortable to eat very much. I think it’s fairly common and I don’t think it’s a sign of labour as much as it’s a sign that your stomach is squashed haha

Nope. I gained weight like a cow up until the day he was born. In the last trimester the baby continues to grow and it’s very common to gain .5-1lbs per week.

I gained pretty steadily until the last 7 weeks or so in my last two pregnancies. Then it slowed right down.

Haha i was the opposite i gain the most at the very end...but alot was water weight and i dropped a significant amount of weight in the 1st couple weeks
