Preterm labor

Tuesday at my appointment I tested positive on my fetal Fibronectin swap. The doctor called me today to let me know and to go in tomorrow for steroids , I’ve been contracting for the past two hours.

Some of the ones that are like 11 minutes in between is because I didn’t time it but they are coming frequently and they don’t hurt but they are definitely coming. I’m high risk for preterm already due to an IC and I was 2cm dilated since 29 weeks when they stopped my contractions once already. Totally freaking out because my first came at 34 weeks 6 days I’m only 32 weeks 2 days and it’s just too early , I need her to cook longer 😭😭

My body was contracting every 3-7 minutes but they weren’t intense so I got sent home because it wasn’t changing my cervix which is good. I’m still at about 2cm, but now I am 40% effaced and baby is right on my cervix. So they gave me steroids for her lungs and they just told me to be on very high alert since the Fetal fibronectin swap they did to test for preterm labour came back positive. So it’s basically a waiting game to see what happens. Hopefully she stays a few more weeks.
