Scared of being pregnant?

Okay so I’m 14, I’ve never had sex, and yet I’m scared of being pregnant. Not of like getting pregnant or that I’m gonna get pregnant or be pregnant any time soon, just the act of being pregnant and giving birth scares the living hell out of me. I want to try and get over it before it counts. I’m young so I’ve got time. But why am I scared? What is there to be scared of? I’m not sure. Please give me your thoughts. ❤️💜

I feel like it’s natural to be afraid of things you aren’t ready for. There’s really no need to get over it now. You aren’t planning on being pregnant.

You don't ever have to do it if you don't want to. I'm 21 and scared of it too, but I'm never going to do it. Worry about it in 20 years, lol

It’s ok to be scared, I think most of us are to some degree.  Be very careful to make sure if it happens, it’s when you’re ready.  And don’t worry about not being scared now, you have a lot of time and it could play out so many ways - you may decide not to have kids, you may decide to adopt, you may decide it’s scary but worth it, or you may outgrow the fear altogether.  One thing I’m sure of is that you’ll be ok 😊

Well first of all, wait until you're ready to have sex and be sure it's with someone you trust. Second of all, go and talk to someone about different types of contraception and how they can be used. Thirdly, pregnancy is only scary when you don't want it. I'm desperate for a child however I know that if I'm lucky enough to fall pregnant then I'll be scared again

Well I'm sure it is scary, especially birth, but what you get out of it in the end will make all of it worth it. When you have the thought of finally getting to hold your little baby for the first time, what you go through doesn't compare to the excitement you feel
