Baby name too odd?

Question

My husband and I love the name Ozzy Oliver for our son due in July, but I worry that Ozzy sounds too much like a nickname and people won't like it. We don't like ANY of the names that lead to Ozzy as a nickname unfortunately. 
Our other name option is Silas Sebastian, but we just don't love it nearly as much. 
Older children are Cade and Effie.
*Edited to add: I've spent hours upon hours looking for names that lead to the nickname Ozzy so I've seen them all. Unfortunately we just don't like any of them.

I’ve never understood needing to choose a longer name just to get the name you actually like as a nickname. If you like Ozzy, go for it! He can always choose to go by Oz when he’s older if the “y” ending is too nick-namey for him, but I think it works just fine as a name.

What about first name Oliver and Ozzy as the nickname? 
We’re considering Henry and nn “Huck” (Which I almost like more than Henry). It’s not a direct shortening, but i think it still works.

My friends husband is named Ozzy and they named their son Ozzy jr. it’s not unheard of. Just not my cup of tea.

Ozzy is great and you should go with what you like. Who cares what others think, he’s your child and if you are confident in the name he will be too.

Are you not a fan of making a combination name? 
Ozlow, Ozland, Ozwell. Etc. 
That could be an option to try. :)
