When did you get checked for dilation & how far along were you when your membranes were stripped? My last appointment I was almost 37 weeks. I asked if I’d be checked for dilation and she said not until 39wks.. I’ve read it can send some into labor and is “unnecessary”, but I do want to know if I’m somewhat dilated!! This upcoming appointment I will be two days from 38wks. My baby dropped at 36wks exactly and since then I’ve had pain and pressure right below my pelvic bone. I can barely stand tbh. I’m so uncomfortable and not sure what my options could be Rn. I’ve had a good pregnancy and she’s measured perfect.
