Do you celebrate whatever cultural events that your SOs culture has with them?

I went to a Laos festival yesterday with my bf. He was so happy that I came to experience his traditions with him. His dad was happy I was there as well.

It was definitely a different experience than what I’m used to. As a African American, we don’t really have any celebrations like that so I had no idea what I should do 😂😂 I got blessed by a monk and got my wrist tied with string that I need to keep on for a while for good luck.

But it was beautiful and definitely want to go again next year.
