How did you know it was twins?

Hi! I just found out I’m pregnant. I did a round of clomid and had two mature follicles. I am really exhausted and feel different than my first pregnancy. I just wanted to see how you guys determined twins. Did you know before the ultrasound?

My first clue was my hcg went from 420 to 2000 in two days! My dr was shocked then went to ER and saw 2 sacs. Now I’m 17 weeks with my twin girls.

I also felt very different than my first two pregnancies- extreme symptoms for me. It’s not an indication of twins necessarily, but it’s why I started questioning if I was having two.
