Hi all. So my 4 and a half month old isn't reaching for toys yet when you put them in front of her. She does reach and pull dangling toys to her mouth though when she's on her play mat. It's only when you put a toy directly in front of her while she's sitting or if she's on her back not on her play mat she has no interest. I talked to the doctor about it at her four-month appointment and he said he wasn't concerned because there's nothing that could be done about a delay until she was a year old. The daycare is making it sound like a big deal though because they just did her development assessment. Does anyone else have a baby that reached for toys late? I'm really concerned she may have some delays.
