Should I get one Safety Harness?

My husband doesn't want me to get one he thinks it looks like lil dog. But I have a 6 month baby and a 4 yr old. I have to drop and  pick up my 4yr from bus stop and my 2yr old like to get off the stroller and run. I have a hard time because I have baby on the baby carrier and  I have to go after him and carrying him.

I never used one. When my son would run off I'd spank him. He learned quick when I yell it means stop. 🤷🏼‍♀️#southernmama

As much as i hate them i put my 2 year old son on baby reigns because i'd choose safety over looks. My son gets one chance and if he doesn't listen , hold my hand and runs off i put the reigns straight on him. Would you seriously care over what people think and what they look like over your childs safety ......please tell me your choosing safety first !!

Is the 2 year old not tied into the stroller?

I bought a backpack harness for my 2yo. I give him the chance to hold my hand and stay by me but he LOVES taking off. He finds it to be absolutely hilarious to see mommy chase him. But like others have said SAFETY FIRST!  I’d rather know he can’t dart across the street and get hit by a car because he can’t run two feet from my side. A LOT of people will judge you, or reference your child being an animal, but seriously you will know they won’t be hurt. And with using it only when the child continues not to listen, if they don’t like it they will learn to listen or know they will be harnessed. I like to give chances, maybe it makes me a pushover but I think it helps the child with learning right from wrong.

I’m 32 weeks pregnant and have 18 month old twins. They both have their own little back packs that I bring with me when we are at the mall or somewhere big and I’m by myself. I have had multiple people come up to me and tell me that I’m a horrible mother for having them wear them and other things. They can suck my ass because I’d rather them be safe by my side then run into the street or get picked up by someone.

I really hate these because it does look like a dog leash. Why isn’t he stopping when you yell to stop?

They are very normal and common in the U.K. and most of Europe. You can have an angel child who will stop running and walking at your command but any child can make a bad decision. Maybe chase a ball into the road. Or get distracted by looking at something In the street. It only takes a second for them to be in danger or someone else to attempt to snatch them. I will definitely be using one of these

I have a dinosaur backpack with attachable leash for my son... I only use it when we go someplace big and I’m alone with him (don’t have my hubby)... I wrap the leash part around my wrist and hold his hand , so it isn’t like I’m walking a dog, but if he does wiggle out of my grip to go to walk off, he can’t get far... sorry but don’t care what anyone else thinks , knowing my son is safe is more important than other people’s opinions.... my son is very well behaved, but has focusing issues and will wonder off to follow a bird, as well as being super social and will talk to ANYONE... so as his parent I refuse to be naive about this and say “not my son” ... do whatever you feel ... you might never need to use it or it might come in handy
