Cd 3 baseline

So today i went for my CD 3 baseline to look for cysts and check my levels before starting ovulation induction for the second time. We took a break for a month started on my own an everything an started on my own again this month so went in and had a cyst on my left ovary. Got my levels back an FSH was 7.9 and E2 was 34.... they canceled this cycle saying they can’t do it an want me to do BC for 2 weeks which i don’t really wanna do.. But i don’t understand if it’s not producing any hormones then would it hurt to do a cycle still? Opinions on numbers an etc?
