Do I Like Him?

I have this friend, Jason and I’ve known him since 6th grade. I never really thought of him as boyfriend material, my middle school best friend has a huge obsessive crush on him (even though she’s my ex best friend now... high school changes stuff).

But we get along so great and I love spending time with him. His smile makes me smile, and we’ll tease each other. We’ve run cross country and track together, and we’re in classes and band together. I get kinda jealous when he talks to my middle school friend because she always interrupts him and talks about stuff she likes that he doesn’t care about.

But yeah, he’s my best guy friend and I can’t imagine how I could’ve gotten through my freshman year without him. But yet I think about him all the time and I get jealous when he talks to my middle school best friend (well, more like when she talks to him). Do I have a crush on him?
