What age?

What age do you expect your child to wash, dry and dress themselves by themselves? Especially a child with Autism and ADHD?

My son is 5 and he’s just adhd and he’s able to do it his self. I still make sure he does a good job tho lol and pick out his clothes and I fix his hair

Neither of my children have autism, but for reference my 5 & 7 year old take showers, wash, dry, brush teeth, and get their own clothes & dress themselves.

My son is 6 and has ASD. He can wash, dry and dress himself.  If he is tired it's harder for him to complete self help tasks unassisted so I need to help him.

Every child is different. My 6 year old son can shower, wash, dry him self and put on clothes I’ve set out. Some days he does better than others and some days he needs constant encouragement to get it all done. My cousin is autistic, high functioning and I would say that he was probably a teenager before he could be trusted to shower and do things appropriately start to finish by himself. We use to camp together all of the time and even at 10 years old he sorta blocked every one and everything out it was very hard for him to follow directions for something he didn’t care about, His mom and dad would have to constantly be prompting him. He’s now 19 and he will do most of those things by himself with minimal prompting. He even has a job as a grocery bagger, and stocks shelves at a local pantry.
