Rushing

So I’m starting at UA in the fall and I’m considering rushing. I can’t find a lot of information on what to do to prepare for it. I do know you have to get recs for the sororities you want but I don’t know anyone who was in a sorority. Can someone give me some advice?

I’m also really shy so I don’t know if it’s for me but I do want to make friends and everyone says you won’t make friends unless you rush because UA is such a big Greek school
