Disney/Universal when pregnant: looking for tips/advice and if you would even recommend?
DH and I have been TTC for 2 1/2 years and are not pregnant yet. BUT, we have been seeing a specialist for a few months now and all our tests show nothing is wrong; apparently it really is a timing thing and a matter of “when” not “if”. We are still doing a few extra things to increase our chances though.
With that being said, my siblings are wanting to plan a trip to Disney and Universal at Christmas time. I know now there’s a chance I can be pregnant at that time. We are flying so if I’m going to be 7mths (or more) it’s not happening. But if I am 5mths or less, right now I am planning on going. I would also like to mention that my siblings do know we are hoping to get pregnant so if it happens within the next month or so, they know I won’t be going.
So, if I do happen to be pregnant and end up going, I have a few questions and was wondering what tips/advice people would have? Or if you would even recommend it? I know certain rides I wouldn’t be able to go on, but can I still stand in line with my family until they get on, and then can the workers direct me where to go to wait? Would I still be able to do some of the rides that are not roller coasters and are more “gentle”, like the little mermaid ride for example? I’ve only been to Disney and Universal once but it’s been a few years and I can’t remember much about the rides. I think Universal has more roller coasters so I figured if anything Disney would be the one I’d get to do more at. Honestly I’m fine if I don’t get to do any of the rides, I’ll just be happy being there with my family and know there are plenty shows/shops I can go too.
I would really like to know what ppl think and any tips/advice they have please.
