Labor and Delivery

I went to the hospital today because I was having sharp pains in my abdomen and the only time I’ve ever experienced that is when I had contractions with my two oldest. When I got there they asked a bunch of questions and put me on the monitor. And every time I had what felt like a contraction, the nurse just said that my uterus was irritable. Then she told me I was probably having these feelings because I drank so much water this morning. And then they discharged me. I’m still really annoyed about my experience and I don’t know if I’m overreacting or not. I literally told one of my coworkers at recess that I felt like I was having Braxton Hicks, but I couldn’t breathe through them and that’s why my doctor’s office told me to go.
