First trimester - so sick! Does it get better ?

Hello,
I have went through IVF treatments and I am pregnant with my first child! However, I am so sick that I can barely make it into work. I’m constantly nauseous and dizzy and keep having to leave work. Do anyone have any advice ? Has this happened to anyone else? I feel so helpless and alone I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

You're not doing anything wrong it's just one of the joys of pregnancy unfortunately but for most girls is subsides in the second trimester just try to hang in there if its really bad your doctor may prescribe something for you to take

I’m with you. I’m 17 weeks and now finally having some good days. On my worst Obed, I spiked my water bottle with watered-down Gatorade. Also fruity ice pops helped a lot. For some reason really cold stuff helped.

I completely understand! I had terrible nausea and vomiting last week. Got some B6 and a sleep aid that helped for a few days. Now I'm back to feeling super nauseas and throwing up even on an empty stomach. My OB said cold foods and room temperature liquids are best. Also Gatorade helps too

I’m with you girl. I’m only 8w and I’m sick in bed. I’m too weak to even drive to work and sit. I can’t hold anything down! I can’t wait till this sickness eases up on me.

Try and eat small meals. And lots and lots of water. And maybe take an antiacid. For most it gets better in the second trimester. If it’s really unbearable talk to your doctor, there is anti-nausea medicine.
