When did your LO start holding their head up all the time?

My LO is 9 weeks old and will hold his head up for 8 seconds max at times and then is back down. But I’m seeing all these people posting videos of their babies holding their head up completely on their own. When did your LO start holding their head up?

Mine is almost 11 weeks and we struggle with tummy time so hard! 😭 she will hold her head up fairly well when I hold her upright but doesn’t even try to lift during tummy time till EXTEREMELy upset towards the end. I’m trying everything to get more tummy time in during the day but some are just slower then others. I’ve been told not to worry TOO much till baby is around 4 months

Every kid is different my oldest was holding up since birth 🙄 my second probably around 4 months bc she was lazy as all get out lol. My third he is nosy but he is 3 months and he hold it up quite  often but still gets shaky

My LO is 10 weeks and still only holds it (barely off the mat) for a few seconds. I plan to talk to my pediatrician at her head check appointment in two weeks. She also HATES tummy time no matter how I “do” it

Every kid is different so don’t stress! My daughter started holding it up most of the time right around 8 weeks. Do lots of tummy time and hold baby on your shoulder or chest for practice!

Mine came out doing it, lol.  He started having more control at about 5-6 weeks.

My little guy started holding his head on his own for bursts around 5 weeks I'd guess. He wanted to have his head up and look around at 2 weeks he couldn't hold his head without assistance then though. He never has been one to let his head rest on my shoulder. So now at 9 weeks he holds it by himself all the time. I'm sure your little is fine. :)

Mine pretty much did it out of the womb. I’m not even joking. He lifted his head up for the first time at the birth center within hours of his birth. He started holding it up for extended periods of time at 3-4 weeks. But that is unusual. 
I think it was keeping him in a baby carrier that encouraged it. He likes to keep his head up and look around instead of laying it on my chest.
