So ever since the day my husband and I started dating my MIL has been against it. She thought I wasn’t good enough for her son due to my previous relationships and mistakes. We stayed together because we knew it was right and ended up getting married last April. Well now we are expecting our first baby in June and she is still trying to control our lives. She keeps calling our baby, “her baby” They live 4 1/2 hours from us so it’s a good thing. Now she is insisting that every month she is going to come down to visit us even if she’s not invited and that when she sees us that I’m not allowed to hold my baby unless I’m feeding her and then I have to give her back to her. I know this must be hard for my husband because its his mother but I need to know he’s not gonna let her control everything. I’m really overwhelmed and anxious about it all. Should I say something or should I just let it slide?
